How to paint tiles

Painting tiles is now a popular choice and is much cheaper then having them replaced. The tiles in the pictures below have all been painted with a brush and so you can see the brush marks. A gloss roller will give a much better finish!

Painting over tiles is not difficult, the first thing to do is clean the tiles thoroughly using sugar soap and warm water. When the tiles are completely dry you can apply a coat of tile primer-

Follow the manufacturers instructions and allow the primer to dry fully and then apply one or two top coats of gloss paint, using a gloss roller.
