How to cut tiles

Cutting a tile is easy as long as you have the correct tile cutter for the tile that you are using. A diamond wheel cutting machine will cut any kind of tile, but a score and snap type cutter will only work on ceramic or porcelain tiles.

tile_cutter This is a score and snap type of tile cutter. This type of cutter will only cut ceramic or porcelain tiles and will not cut natural stone such as slate or marble. Simply insert your tile, score it and then snap it.
